Who are you?

I'm Sonia, 24 years old, and I prefer She/Her pronouns. I'm a trans woman college dropout with a whole bunch of interests that you WILL hear about, whether you want to or not!

Cool, what do you do?

Nothing, currently! But hopefully you can tell by the fact I'm actually going through with making this whole website that I WANT to do a lot of things! I have a very versatile voice that I've yet to make a reel for. A whole background of art, mostly scattered across multiple websites. I've dabbled in Visual C, Javascript, Python, among other things, but never got very far with them. I hope this webpage becomes a springboard for me to show myself I can do cool things if I put the time and effort into it!

My Little Pony

This has been a major hyperfixation since around 2020. I was first hooked in 2012, but fell off as cringe culture became more prominent, and I went through my teenage years. I attribute My Little Pony with probably being responsible for my egg cracking one way or another. Or, at least, it taught me to be comfortable with my femininity. You can find me on FimFiction, my old MLPForums account still sees occasional use as well. My Derpibooru (18+) is also around, albeit fairly inactive.

Five Nights at Freddy's

This whole "fandom talk" side of the page exists pretty much specifically for me to explain that I grew up with this series, and enjoy the games and characters, but don't agree with series creator Scott Cawthon's political agenda, or the direction the story has gone over the years. Seriously, where the fuck did the spirits of the kids murdered in 1987 at FNAF2's location go?! Why isn't this talked about?! Not to mention the 8 kids that Vanny kills between HW and SB. I might write a fan-fic some day exploring how I think the story could have been told, because the current version of the narrative is so full of retcons and sometimes-but-not-always-separate paratext that it's practically incoherent.

Toontown

I've played this game for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of Toontown Online, back when you could make grey toons, and when the old toontorial and menu screen were still around. You might catch me on TTR or Corporate Clash every now and then.

Nintendo

I love their software, but I'm not especially fond of their anti-preservation and fangame policies. They're also a big business which, yeah, I should probably see as evil, but they surprise me sometimes.

Sonic the Hedgehog

I like going fast. I play the games. I kinda have an OC, but she isn't really finalized, and the only art is concept sketches made by friends.

Pokemon

During that period where I wasn't focusing on MLP, I was focusing on Pokemon! That said, general decline in series quality has left me distant from this series. Sword and Shield, as well as Scarlet and Violet were both letdowns in their own ways (though SV had a LOT of potential) and the spin-offs are almost all sanded-down husks of what they used to be, if not outright dead.
